Captain Billy has been featured on several local and national television shows (O’Neil’s Family Outdoors, Cabela’s Team Outdoors, Hooked on Fishing,The Average Angler, and The Professional Tarpon Tournament Series). He has also been featured several times in the Tampa Tribune, Saint Petersburg Times, Waterline Magazine, Boca Beacon, Onshore-Offshore Magazine, Saltwater Angler, Florida Sportsman, Saltwater Sportsman, Shallow Water Angler, and Sports Afield. You can also see Captain Billy at the new Snook exhibit in the Florida Aquarium located in Tampa, Florida. Captain Billy has also been a guest on radio including The Captain Mel Show and Florida Sportsman Radio show.

In 2002 Captain Billy’s tournament partner and long time friend, Captain Mike Anderson, approached him about doing a radio show. These two captain’s have amassed in the past three years a listening audience greater than 25,000 strong each Sunday morning from 8 to 10 am on Onshore-Offshore Fishing Show aired on ESPNFlorida radio.
In 2006 Cpatain Billy and partner Captain Michael Anderson launched the Reel Animals Fishing Show on WFLA-TV, Channel 8 in Tampa. The show airs Saturdays at 1 p.m.
